Fees for Clearing & Settlement in Euroclear Finland´s equity settlement system HEXClear
Monthly fees, registration fees and changes in the status of a participant
Euroclear Finland invoices €500 monthly fee for Clearing Participants. An additional €500 monthly fee is charged for CLP for all the additional default broker codes it has in the system.
The registration/affiliation entry fee will be charged once. It includes the handling of the application and the registration of a new Clearing Party in HEXClear and Central Register (CR).
Changes in the status of a Clearing Party are charged case by case. Typical cases are, for example, when the CLP applies a new HEXClear short name/CLP code, the CLP closes down its CLP status, all kinds of change in corporate form, etc. The fee includes application processing and the execution of necessary changes in the HEXClear and CR systems.
Data communication / Data transfer line charges
Euroclear Finland invoices the Clearing Party for the line connection to the HEXClear system. NCSD services are provided over the NCSD Network. Services of Euroclear Finland and Sweden are available through one connection either in Finland or in Sweden and pricing is based on the location of the connection. Line charges are based on line capacity and will be debited in three month periods in advance.
Settlement of trades and other transactions
Staff service charges
A normal day-by-day operational telephone service and monthly reports for the settlement of trades are free of charge. For other services Euroclear Finland invoices according to the actual work hours required. Work hours are always charged when the CLP makes a request for a special service from Euroclear Finland. In general these services include tailored training or specific work in retrieving historical data at the request of a CLP.
Example: "A medium size CLP"
A local broker which is Euroclear Finland's Clearing Party and settles all trades itself. Monthly volumes are approx. 13.000 settled transactions included OMX Nordic Exchange trades and other DvP and FoP transactions.
This table includes all Euroclear Finland's monthly CLP invoicing for the settlement. In addition to that Euroclear Finland invoices the book-entry registrars EUR 0,18 / settlement registration notification. The book-entry registrars invoice the customer, broker or the CLP in question:

Monthly fees, registration fees and changes in the status of a participant
The entry fee of Debt Clearing Party is charged once. It includes the handling of the application and the operational establishment of a new Clearing Party/Account Operator in the Ramses system. In addition to that, Euroclear Finland charges the register fee for allowing a participant to act as an Account Operator/Clearing Party (open a book-entry account and make registrations) and the use of functional units. Also, a separate fee for the right of access to software is charged.
