Disclosure framework
ECSDA (European Central Securities Depositories Association) has developed a Disclosure Framework with the aim of presenting a single set of answers that could satisfy all the market participants seeking information on depositories.As a starting point for drafting the questionnaire, the Disclosure Framework for Securities Settlement Systems by CPSS/IOSCO, Depository Questionnaire 2000 by Association of Global Custodians and ISSA 2000 Recommendations, has been used. Rule 17f-7 is also covered by the Disclosure Framework.
ECSDA members have agreed to use the ECSDA Disclosure Framework as a standard for providing information regarding services, governance and functionality.
